Your AI screening partner to stop spam applications.

Every applicant does a short AI voice interview before applying, so only people who want the role get through.

About 15 minutes, by voice

Required before anyone can apply, so bots and mass-appliers drop off.

Checked against the resume

Screenery compares what candidates say with what their resume claims.

Scored on several signals

Each answer is weighed for substance, resume match and confidence, then explained.

Applying got automated.
Hiring didn’t.

AI resume builders and auto-apply tools send out hundreds of polished applications in minutes, often from people who never read the job post or looked into the company.

Recruiters end up skimming a pile of look-alike resumes, and the candidates who actually want the role get buried in it.

Screenery does the screening.
You make the call.

It interviews every applicant, checks what they claim, and handles the hiring admin. Your team meets the people who made it through.

Every applicant talks to Screenery first.

The interview is part of the application. Candidates upload a resume, then answer a few spoken questions built from your job description and their own experience. It takes about 15 minutes, and they can do it whenever suits them.

Your resume mentions leading a payments migration. What was the hardest trade-off?
Whether to cut over in one go or run both systems side by side. We ran both for six weeks…
Resume claim referenced: payments migration

Every claim gets checked.

Screenery scores the substance of each answer, how well it backs up the resume, and how confidently it’s given. It’s built to spot an AI agent answering for someone else.

  • Resume claims matched against spoken answers

  • Built to detect AI stand-ins

Questions,
answered.

What does a candidate actually go through?

They upload a resume and then speak with Screenery’s AI interviewer by voice. The interview takes around 15 minutes and asks a handful of screening questions based on the job description and their own resume. Finishing it is what submits the application.

How are candidates scored?

On three things: the substance of their answers, how well those answers support the claims on their resume, and how confidently they answer. Your team sees the score, the reasoning and the quotes behind it.

Will a candidate’s accent affect their result?

No. Screenery evaluates what candidates say, not how they sound. Accent is not a scoring criterion.

Can someone use an AI agent to take the interview for them?

Screenery looks at how answers are delivered as well as what’s said, and it’s built to detect AI agents answering on someone’s behalf.

Does Screenery replace our recruiters?

No. It handles first-round screening and the admin around it. Your team runs the final interview and makes the hiring decision.

How is this different from Greenhouse, Ashby or BambooHR?

It covers the same ground: job posts, pipelines, stages and candidate profiles. The difference is that it’s AI-native. You can ask Screenery to schedule interviews or create documents, and every applicant arrives already interviewed.
